Chapter Twenty-Seven

            Adrien slept peacefully that night, but I hardly slept a blink because I was too cautious that I might wake him up if he realized that I moved. His hand rested on my stomach while his head's nuzzled at the crook of my neck.             I didn't know what time I fell asleep.             When I woke up, the bed's already half empty, not half full. I sat on the mattress while I stretched my arms so that my muscles would relax after a not so long sleep.             I looked over the mirror just a meter away from me and saw how unruly my hair was. The strap of my bra and my shirt was on my arms.             I quickly ran my fingers on my eyes to check if I have some rheum and to the side of my lips to check if I have some dried spittle.             "Oh, you're awake already?
