He looked down from the towering, obsidian gates of the underworld, at each soul that slowly enters. He wasn't looking at anything particular as his mind wanders off to that particular bright smile. Her sweet bright smile holding her sweet little baby girl, cradling her gently in her arms. Knees bent so he could rest his elbow while the other leg dangles at the edge of the gate, he sighed out loud. Souls need not be guided. He thought. These souls had a lifetime to live, a lifetime to either choose to do good deeds or stray from that path. They had a lifetime on earth which he didn't have.
