For some reason he kept touching her. Soft ones on her neck and waist as if he couldn't believe she was real. No… this must be a prank or some sort of joke. There'd been rumours of how all the women Ignacio Vilagos dated was to improve his reputation. Why would a rich, powerful man accept her proposal and then claim to love her? …there's nothing he could gain! Jemimah thought as she watched him watch her, a playful grin curved on his flawless face. He probably spent millions on his skincare with the manner it glowed. But why was he smiling like that? Suddenly his eyes glazed over and she felt him grow bigger on her stomach. As if burnt by fire, she scooched backwards earning a deep laughter from Ignacio. Embarrassment colored Jemimah's golden skin. Where was her wedding gown anyway? She looked around at the lavish room, big enough to throw a party in. “I had it thrown out.” “You what?” Jemimah sputtered earning more chuckles. He shrugged again, her eyes tracking the movement of his broad shoulders. “Lets go back a bit. After we got married and I brought you here, you kept pulling at your dress.” She wanted to crawl under the bed from embarrassment at her unladylike manners. “You were too drunk to get out of it. So I helped you.” His finger caught her chin again. “I like your eyes…They look like the Arabian desert. Hot but Magical.” A shy smile spread on her face. Don't let him distract you! Jemimah bit inside her cheek. “So where is it right now?” “Trash…I mistakenly ripped it apart.” This was uttered without a look of apology. “If I can tear it in two then it probably wasn't expensive enough.” He winked at her. “Don't worry I'd buy you a better one.” She gaped at him. That gown cost Richard hundreds of thousand dollars and here it's been shredded by Mr Red Prince. And it's not because of it was cheap…she thought glancing at his massive build easily towering over her even though he simply lay on his side. Her eyes trailed to his hands. They were huge. No wonder he tore it up. She marked his muscles rippling of dominance till she got to the blankets stopping at his waist. Everything about him looked big …probably endowned down south too. His deep V cut left little to her imagination. Jemimah looked up. His eyes darkened like a hunter caging it's prey. He suddenly doubled in aura and appeal. Her body tingled anew. “Last night did we …umm…yunno …do the deed?” Ignacio just lay there running his eyes all over Jemimah's frame. How she wished for better covering. Since he's so quiet maybe she could get away. Gingerly she slid off the bed, catching the sheets before they fell off her body. Too late. Her bare back sprung him to action. Not sure if he had secret training in moving so nimbly. He held her hair over one shoulder and left those butterfly kisses on her skin. “It's not too late to do it now.” He groaned on her neck, his teeth grazing her skin. “Umm…do what?” she was losing her trail of thoughts again when all he'd done was peck her. He chuckled on her skin. “Do the deed as you called it.” Oh no no no. She froze. There's no way she's doing the deed with a stranger (no matter how handsome) more importantly a person she didn't love. Feeling her unwillingness, he paused rounding to her front. “You don't want to?” She shook her head. Afraid of what he'd say. More than 109% positive he'd toss her out like Richard did. “That's fine I can wait.” Her head snapped up to meet his hooded eyes. “Are you— He held her hand softly. “I'm sure. It's your body so whenever you're ready.” Thankful, she smiled up at his charming face. He grinned down at her, “Besides you're not getting away from me.” Without thinking she scanned his godlike physique to black boxers, an outline appeared unusually large. A gasp escaped her lips as Ignacio pulled her to him, sinking his fingers into her hair he smirked, “I suggest you don't look down unless,” he nipped her ear, “ you'd want me to tear the sheets off your body and claim every part.” Even though she clutched the sheet tighter to her body, every cell in Jemimah's body screamed. She wanted him to but she couldn't shake the feeling that something seemed off. Before shutting the bathroom door, she snuck a peek. Taller than any man she'd ever seen, broad muscles spoke volumes of how much exercise he must put in. Even with messed strands falling every which way, he still managed to look dashing. Of course… he was Ignacio Vilagos. He turned around and caught her. “My Caramel.” Why would he marry her just like that? Even if she proposed…it's not possible. “Need your husband to help you with something?” He'd materialised in front of the door. Jemimah nodded. A sweet smile from him nearly dissolved her into a puddle. He made to open the door wider but she stopped him. “Why did you agree to marry me?” He smiled wider. “Because…the moment I laid eyes on you, no one else mattered.” What? Jemimah knew he wanted to hold her but she refused to let him disarm her senses with his siren like features afterall Richard who was a millionaire could easily abandon her what more a billionaire she didn't know. “I couldn't help it…No even now….” He bit his lips and shoved his hands through his hair as if this made him nevous. “Jemimah… I couldn't help falling in love with you.” He whispered looking her in the eye. Jemimah fought her shaky voice. “You can't mean that…you don't even know me.” Exhaling the air in his lungs, he attempted a little smile. “I guess that's why they call it love at first sight.” How can a billionaire fall in love with her…at first sight! Before she shut the door, she heard him say, “Serendipity.” The steam soaked her skin. Can love be accidental? Her mind replayed how he touched her like she meant everything to him. He didn't take. Didn't force himself on her to go further. What if he's really in love with you?, Jemimah's mind questioned her. “Even if I don't love him…I can't deny the pull I have towards him. “ “But what if he's playing me?” Jemimah clasped her hands on her ample bosom. Drying off, she slid into a fluffy robe, walked into the bedroom to meet no one. Her heart pounded. Was he already tired of her? Like Richard… A bouquet of flowers centered her vision. Mind in turmoil, she picked it up and sniffed it. Tucked inside, a gold colored note caught her eyes, “Stepped out to order some clothes, meet me at the lobby when you get dressed. P.S You're my desert flower.” The tears gathering in her eyes spilled out. Doubts cast aside, she enjoyed the fragrance of the roses. Joy in her eyes, she quickly put on the outfit he'd gotten her. A wedding gown. Not just any…this was a figure hugging mermaid gown, jewels encased in it. How can she be so lucky? After pinning her thick hair up, she rushed to meet him. His broad back to her, she assessed her husband. Now adorned in a black office shirt and matching pants that hugged his powerful body she nearly gasped again. Ignacio turned around, instantly beaming at Jemimah, onyx eyes sparkled with adoration. As though he hadn't seen her in years, pulled her in his arms. His cologne fresh and addicting filled her nostrils. This is what she'd always wished for. But how could someone in a poor class like you get this so easily?, another voice reared her insecurities in her head. “Wow you look… sexy.” He purred in her ears. She turned red then whispered, “You too.” Once again his eyes glinted like a predator.
