It was the first weekend of October before Raber and Ioni finally had a physical reunion after more than a month. It was a Friday and Raber had come immediately after his last class of the day. Ioni had never been happier to see anybody.
“I’m so happy to be sitting here with you right now,” he said to her as they sat waiting for their food to arrive. “I"d forgotten how good your skin feels and how intoxicating you smell.”
Ioni smiled and reached for his hand across the table. She noticed that he looked slightly haggard but chalked it up to either the harsh lighting of the restaurant or his hectic schedule.
“I"m just so glad you"re here,” she said to him.
She leaned across the table so that her face was inches from his and whispered, “I think that was the best s*x we"ve had yet.” Rabe
