After several weeks back on campus, the days grew busy enough to distract Amalia from a paralyzing grief over the death of her father and brother. She stood before the photocopy machine, printing materials for a finance theories class later that afternoon, anticipating what the professor needed as handouts and reading assignments for the uninterested freshmen required to take his intro course.
