CLAIRE'S POV
My eyes widened in shock as I stared at the middle-aged man standing by the counter. Beside him was a young woman clinging sheepishly to his arm.
That man…. He was Jack Shaw, Isabella's father.
And the woman? It was obvious she was his Mistress.
I had always known Jack as a loving husband and devoted family man. But now, all I see is a cheating scumbag hiding behind a perfect facade.
Such an irony of life.
But what were they doing in a health store? Was he sick?
Bringing out my phone from my purse, I mumbled inwardly, “This would come in handy someday.”
I paused, casually speaking to the sales assistant, “Excuse me, I need to use the restroom first.”
"Right this way, ma'am. Just head down the hall to the right and take a left at the end." She replied, smiling warmly.
