Prologue

“Once upon a time, an angel fell in love with a human princess. The angel rebelled to be with the human so he was casted out from heaven and he would never be able to return to heaven again. To be with his human lover, the angel turned himself into a human and spent his time with his human lover.” “Did the two of them lived happily ever after?” “Unfortunately, their story ended with a sad ending because the princess was killed when the princess’ kingdom was invaded.” “Oh no! That must be devastating for the human angel!” “Yes dear, the fallen angel was devastated that he fought to death.” “He died?” “His human body is the one that died. And he became a spirit again. But that night, he was no longer the angel of light he used to be. He became the angel of the dark and because of his pain, he nearly burned the entire kingdom of the enemy to ashes. Setting every person and castles to fire until there was nothing left. And that’s how this angel of the light became the devil. Since he could no longer return to the heaven, he descended to hell and ruled over the demons there.” “That’s a very sad story…” “Yes, but the story didn’t end there. Because the princess and the fallen angel had a son.” “Whoah!” “Yes, princess. And unfortunately, their child was cursed, because it was apparently a taboo for a human and an angel to mate.” “But the child didn’t do anything.” “Yes, princess, it’s not his fault. He was but the product of his parents’ forbidden love.” “That is so unfair. What happened to the child?” “The child grew up as beautiful and perfect like his angel father. He was the most beautiful person ever born. But beneath his beautiful features hid the unbreakable curse. He would grow terrifying horns, fangs and long nails when angered. He becomes a demon who desires blood and slaughter. And he could lure anyone into his den and eat them alive and do every sinful thing to them. And it was said that the child has grown up and is still living among us.” "That... that was just a story, right?" the little princess asked the maid as a small shiver of fear ran down her spine.
