Autumn's POV
"Fine, I'll go with you so you don't have to fight anymore." I said finally.
I wasn't exactly happy that they were all arguing because of me. My chest felt heavy watching Gina shout and the Alphas growling back at her like wild animals. I wanted the ground to open and swallow me. I didn’t want anyone to fight because of me especially not these idiots. So I said I’d go with them.
It wasn’t because I trusted them and it certainly wasn’t because I believed they were suddenly good people. It was just easier. I just wasn't the mood to argue anymore and I didn't want to listen to tattletales. Gina looked furious when I said it, like I’d betrayed her somehow. But she didn’t leave. She stayed behind, staring at me with those eyes that made me feel like I owed her something.
