Autumn's POV
I was too stunned to speak. There's no way he's actually going out of his way to tell me all of this if he's not telling the truth, right? I moved closer to him and touched his forehead to see if he was running a fever, but he wasn't.
He was okay and telling me all of this. Is he not afraid he's going to have problems with his brother or his favorite person, which is Agatha? He should be trying to get her out of the police station. Why is he here with me, saying things that he doesn't mean?
"Listen, I know you're trying all you can to prove to me that you're on my side, and then you're going to find a way to force me into forgetting all of this. I won't forget it, so you should just leave. You seem to be fine, but you're saying nonsense. I think you should get some rest."
