Autumn’s POV
When Gina sent me a message, asking me to come out so we could meet up, I almost ignored it. My first instinct was to stay in my room and hide from everyone. Things at home weren’t going well, and my mind was a mess.
But then I thought maybe it was better to go. Sitting alone in that house, surrounded by memories I couldn’t erase, was only making me worse. At least outside, I could breathe a little. So I decided to go.
The moment Gina saw me, her whole face lit up. She was smiling so brightly, almost like she had been waiting for me the whole day.
“Autumn!” she called out, running to hug me. “I’m so happy you came. I want to show you something today. I want to take you to my pack. And George...” she gestured to her brother “George will be the one to give you the tour.”
