Autumn’s POV
It was night time and everywhere felt a little too quiet. I was sitting by my window, staring outside at the large estate. The moonlight was soft, but something about it made me uneasy. I couldn’t explain why, but I felt restless. My chest was heavy, and my heart kept beating faster than normal.
I wanted to sleep, but my body refused to relax. I told myself maybe it was because of everything happening lately. Gina and her brother George promising to help me, and the three brothers suddenly acting like they cared. Too many things were happening at once, and I didn’t know if I could trust anyone.
