Autumn’s POV
I didn’t want to come down. Not yet.
I stayed in my room, lying flat on my bed and staring at the ceiling. I didn’t want to see their faces. Not Dante’s angry eyes. Not Knox’s stiff silence. Not even Adonis pretending he didn’t care while clearly watching everything I did.
I hugged my pillow tighter and let out a small sigh. My heart still felt heavy from earlier. The moment Dante saw me getting out of Alpha George’s car, it was like his whole body turned to stone. I could feel his judgment. His anger. The way his eyes burned holes into my skin.
And still I didn’t regret it.
They deserved a little punishment.
My phone buzzed beside me. I grabbed it and saw Gina’s name flash across the screen.
