Vince protectively stands between me and his hostile brother.
“Lilian has been with me all the time. There is no way that she had anything to do with them being gone,” he responds to his brother’s accusations, but Alfred is convinced that I had something to do with Nana, his wife and kids being missing.
“She could have done it over the phone,” he suggests and turns to me. “Where are they?”
Good to know that he thinks I am capable of pulling something like this off. It is Vince who responds again.
“I would have heard her talking on the phone. Besides, her phone is in my pocket most of the time. She has not made any calls, nor has she received any in the past two days.”
