Melissa’s POV
This is by far the worst pain I have ever experienced. Lying to the person I think I love the most and refusing to be with them because of what I have seen my parents go through. Everyone deserves to be happy, and I am not about to deprive Dimitry of that.
The lawyer has taken note of everything and has agreed to share the agreed conditions with my father and I by email before end of day. Judge Hillary has been kind and helpful, I am glad my plan worked and Dimitry is free.
The only thing I am sad about is that we shall be apart and not together. I pray our child forgives me for this. Resentment is expected, I am depriving this child from growing up in a happy home with both it’s parents.
