Melissa’s POV
After what feels like forever, I finally get to the other end of the lake.
I push myself out of the water getting onto dry land. The breeze immediately slaps my whole body making me shiver from the sudden chill that runs through my entire body. I hope not to get a cold.
Who am I kidding? I look at my clothes which are drenched and dripping water? My hair is also soaking wet and dripping water as well.
“Let’s find that fire and get dried up before the cold kicks in.” I tell myself and start walking ahead into the deep woods.
The trees on this side of the lake are very much similar to the ones on the other side, the only visible difference is this side has less shrubs and the way through the trees is clearer for me to see without much light. The sun has set and it’s alm
