Chance's POV:

Ace quickly run to them and shot that guy in the head. I grabbed Mason's hand and he helped me stand up.

Jason looked at Blair and his eyes went big. He quickly took out his phone and with shaking hands he called the ambulance.

I walked to them as fast as I could and examined Blair. It was in her side not that deep but knife was still there.

"Guys, we must be quick. If ambulance comes and sees us here it will grab a lot of attention. Ace and Mason hide this body. Blair, I will take out the knife so we can walk till the other side of the road. " I said to everyone and nodded towards Jason so he would help me.

He lofted Blair a little bit and held her hand. I looked at both of them and Blair nodded.

I quickly took out the knife and Jason gave me his jacket so I will wrap it around the wound.

"Now, Jason take her and let's go.” I said to him as I took out my wig and lenses.

Ace and Mason came to our side and we walked across the road to the place where we have parked our cars.

"Chance, are you ok?" Ace asked me as he wrapped his hand around me.

"Yeah, good. You?" I looked at him. He nodded. I looked over at Mason and remembered that Max wasn't here.

"Where's Max?" I asked Mason and he looked around. "f**k, he wasn't with us when we jumped out of the window" Ace said and moved his hand through his hair.

I took out my phone and dialed Max's number. It ringed few times when he finally picked it up.

"Where the hell are you?" I asked worriedly.

"I am fine don't worry. I saw this people when they first came in and called back up. I am with our gang members" he said.

"Oh, good job Max." I said and he chuckled.

"Are you all fine? Me and others coming towards you" he said.

"No, not that fine. Blair got stabbed we called ambulance and going to the hospital. You send others home and come there too" I said and he agreed.

"Where is he?" Ace asked. I explained situation to him and in that moment ambulance came.

Me Jason and Blair went with ambulance while guys came with our cars.

In the ambulance nurse examined Jason's head and cleaned the wound.

"What happened to your head?" I asked him silently while nurse was speaking with the driver.

"That fucker smashed something in my head while we were fighting and after that he walked inside." He explained.

"Honey, do you need anything too?" Nurse asked me kindly. She was woman in her early 30's.

I shook my head but it made my head hurt. I held my head in my hands and closed my eyes.

Nurse looked at me with worry. She opened a bottle and took out a pill for me.

"Swallow it. It will make you feel better but, it will also put you to sleep" she warned before I took the pill from her.

After few minutes I leaned on Jason's shoulder and let myself relax as sleep took me away from reality.

Jason's POV:

Soon we arrived at hospital and they quickly took Blair to one of the operation rooms.

I helped Chance stand up and we walked inside too. She was still leaning on me. Because, she was under the effect of pills.

Ace, Mason, and Max came in and I explained them Chance's state and what was happening with Blair.

To say that I was worrying would be underestimating. I was anxious and panicked.

I kind of feel like it was my fault. That guy was aiming at me but she pushed me out of the way.

We sat there still waiting for any news about Blair. I know that it wasn't something that bad. But I couldn't help being worried about her.

I shook my head to get these thoughts out of my head and looked over at Mason.

The first thing that caught my attention was his bleeding arm. The cut was deep and it had already bloodied half of Mason's shirt.

"Mason, you better go and find nurse to bandage this. It can be something serious" I said and Mason looked at me tiredly.

I think he was already losing his consciousness.

"f**k, man, keep your eyes open. I will help you go to the nurse." I said and stood up.

But as soon as I started walking my sides hurt and I put my hand on the wall to balance myself.

"Jason, sit here I will take Mason to the nurse and call doctor for you too." Max said as he walked to Mason and helped him to stand up.

I nodded and sat at my place. "Why didn't Mason check it up when we walked in?" Ace asked and I looked over at him.

Chance was lying on his leg and he had put his arm around her.

"I don't know maybe he just didn't think that it was something important" I said and Ace shrugged.

After few minutes doctor came out of operation room and I stood up to walk towards him but stumbled on my way.

"She is in good conditions. No need to worry about it. But your state is rather worrying" Doctor said and looked at me.

"I think it is not something important just few broken ribs and that’s all" I said as we made our way to one of the examination rooms.

He did few tests and looked through the results for few minutes. "You have 2 broken ribs and sprained leg." He said as he turned his attention to me.

I nodded. "So, the pain will go away soon if I don't pressure my leg too much." I said and doctor looked at me once again.

"Yeah that's right. Do you know that you shouldn't lift much weight with your left hand right? It looks like you had bone fracture in the past" he said and pointed to my arm.

I nodded as chilly memories made their way into my head.

"Yeah, thanks for reminding me. " I said after few seconds of silence.

Doctor offered me some pills for the pain in my rib cage and I gladly took them.

"Your friend should be awake by now. If you want I can show you her room" he said as we walked out of examination room.

I nodded eagerly to him and we started to walk towards the other rooms.

I think I am developing some kind of affection towards her and it scares me.

"So, if you need anything just press the button near the bed." Doctor said and walked out quietly.

Blair was half asleep when I came in. I sat in the couch near the hospital bed and her eyes moved towards me.

"Ugh, what happened?" She asked and looked at me.

"What is the last thing you remember?" I asked her so I can know from where I should tell her.

She knotted her eyebrows while trying to remember. "The last thing.... I remember you carrying me but after that everything is blank." She said and I nodded.

"After that I carried you to the ambulance and then we came here and doctors stitched your wound" I said and she nodded.

"Are you fine?" Blair asked and looked at my head.

I smiled. "Of course, I am. Nothing can hurt or scare me" I said and she chuckled.

"Apart from spiders" Blair mumbled and looked at me when she understood that I heard it. I pointed my finger at her playfully. "Don't. Never mention that again" I said.

Few weeks ago, me and Blair saw each other in the city late at night. It was the night when we set trap for that guy who was destroying our deals-Sean.

After everything was over I wasn't tired at all so I went to the city and just roamed in empty streets with drink in my hand until I saw Blair.

Long story short while we were sitting in one of the benches in park spider made it is way there and I jumped back.

What can I do? I am f*****g disgusted and scared of that creatures.

"Ok. No more mentions of that time, strong guy." She said the last part sarcastically. I arched my brow. "Wait, you doubt my powers and fighting skills?" I said and put my hand in my chest.

She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, you couldn't even dodge the simple punch that I threw"

I remembered that night in the club when Blair broke my nose.

Not so good memory.

"Hey I didn't know that good looking and cute girl like you can have that strong punch" I said and huffed.

She chuckled at that then looked at me. "You think I am cute?" She said.

Then my eyes widened when I understood the words that I said.

I cleared my throat. "Well, maybe, yes." I said above the whisper.

Blair wanted to say something but then someone knocked on the door and entered.

"How everyone doing people?" Chance said as she walked inside with Ace and Mason.

"Where is Max?" I asked Mason."He got a call from his boyfriend and then went to meet him" Mason said.

I nodded and looked over at Chance. "You good?" I asked her.

"Absolutely" she said and sat near the Ace in the sofa.

After that we all started to speak about different topics like nothing had happened.

Like we were just kids with simple and carefree life.
