Herbert gave Doug a look to indicate him to go out, and Doug obediently dodged out of the box. Carolyn also intended to leave with him, but Doug locked the door outside.

"Open the door! What do you want?" Carolyn panicked and pulled the door handle hard.

Herbert got up and walked towards her, the desire in his eyes showing. "Sweetheart, let's make up. I can give you as many items as you want."

Carolyn grabbed the strap of her bag and went around the round table to avoid Herbert. How did this scum have the face to say such things! But in this dangerous situation, She better not provoke him. "Aren't you afraid that Julian will make trouble?"

"Don't mention that arrogant woman." Herbert showed an expression of disgust.

Carolyn sneered, "You two broke up so soon?"

This determined and decisive look of Carolyn was something Herbert had never seen before. The previous Carolyn was all quiet and soft. Last time at Logan's house, today here, she turned into a thorny rose. This sense of impact made Herbert feel incomparably fresh, his heart itched even more, and he began to expose his true face.

Ellis bent down and picked up Carolyn, who did not feel panic, but felt safe against him.

The outside was already cleared by Willy, so there was no need to worry about being pointed out by outsiders. Ellis carried Carolyn to the car and sent her back.
