~Jenetta’s PoV~ I sleep deeply, better than I have in a long, long time, and when the truck comes to a stop, I’m surprised to find that we’ve already arrived and the sun is starting to rise. Sitting up, I realize that I’ve somehow ended up leaning on Tamir’s shoulder. Embarrassingly, I’ve even managed to leave a little bit of drool on his dark shirt. What would all the people who scare their children with stories of the soulless Tamir think if they could see that? “I’m sorry,” I quickly apologize, wiping my face dry and rubbing my eyes to make sure I’m fully awake.
