Where the hell was she? She wasn’t answering her phone; I couldn’t find her anywhere. I even ran into Sonia, and even she had no idea where she was. Well, maybe she did, but she was too wasted to think properly. Her speech was so slurred that I could barely understand a thing she was saying.
“Can you just pick up your damn phone?” I muttered angrily, calling her for the eighth time while looking around for her in the crowded room. The call ended, and I hissed, stuffing my phone in my pocket. She had better not have gotten herself mixed up with Ryan. I told her to stay far away from him. Does she ever listen?
“Yo, have any of you seen Ryan?” I asked a group of guys who were drinking near the bar.
“He went into the hallway with a girl. I couldn’t really recognize her.”
