Noah: She thought she was being slick, that I would find her. Of course, I saw her scurry into the chinchilla section like a little rodent and hide. I tried not to laugh. As amusing as this was, I wasn’t going to play cat and mouse with her in this place. I simply grabbed a basket and walked to the cat section. Every now and then I would look down the aisle, hoping that she’d scurry past again and I’d have a good laugh. We were shopping for cats after all. She was going to have to meet me here sooner or later. I grabbed a tin of wet cat food from the shelf and smiled at the picture. They still had this brand after so many years.
