When Desmond came to, he jolted awake and sat up in a panic. The empty, gray surroundings told him he had not left The Echo, but he had been dragged into a building. His mind and heart were racing at the last event that had just unfolded in front of him. The owner of the mysterious voice and the one who had attacked him combined with Mykel's words had him in a state of confusion. It had sounded like whoever it was that had attacked him was someone that Mykel had recognized.
“I don't think you should be moving around too quickly," Lydia's voice came almost so quiet that he nearly missed the words she said to him.
