Ria's body slid off of Mykel's claws with a wet squelching sound as she fell to the ground. The fight came to an end with the final blow that Mykel made. His attack left her laying on the ground, coughing and bleeding out faster than she could recover. She didn't even seem to have the strength to gather herself up from the floor while she stared up at her attacker. Mykel loomed over her like a great shadow.
