My Life as a Gamer

Chapter 2

I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

"What the freak? What the freaking freak? What the hell's happening?" I said while panicking and freaking out.

I ran to the bathroom and washed my face and eyes. I thought I was hallucinating but it was still there.

I went back to sleep and slept for 2 hours. When I woke up that freaking screen was still there.

" Okay Niam calms down, maybe this is still a dream! right! right!" I said as I picked up a pin and stuck my finger.

" Ouch, okay it's not a dream" I looked at the screen and touched it.

It started giving me information that this hologram is actually part of my ability "The Gamer" and my ability turns reality into a game, an actual game.

I was freaking out and still couldn't believe it. This is a miracle, I actually have an ability, a superpower.

I looked into it and found tons of amazing things like a home screen, a map of the whole city, a skill list, a shop where I can buy tons of items called the Gamer's shop, and also other cool stuff.

Okay at first I thought of testing it out and went outside. A small mini-map opened on the side, like in a game you are given a map for guidance. I started walking around my neighborhood.

When I looked at people I could see their levels and names like in an Rpg game. I went to the grocery store and picked up an apple and started seeing its info. While walking home I opened my map and placed a checkpoint on the map of where I wish to go. Then an arrow started guiding me towards my destination and I made it safely home.

"Okay this is real, this is so freaking nuts and beyond cool," I said while being excited.

While walking, my foot hit my desk and bruised my foot a bit, while I was rubbing my wound I saw a red bar getting reduced. It was my HP bar that showed that my health got minutes by 1 point out of a hundred.

At first, I thought of looking at it but I was hungry so I sat down and had my breakfast first. After breakfast when I look at my HP it was surprisingly full. I looked at my toe it was healed. I didn't know how that happened but then I did think of something. I grabbed a pin and a piece of chocolate I stuck my finger with it and my hp lowered by 0.5 points. I ate that piece of chocolate and my HP was restored. It really worked, in RPG games health is restored by either food or potions just like in the video game Skyrim and Witcher.

Then I thought if I can look at other people's level then maybe I also have a level. I found the stat option and opened it on the screen. My stats were displayed I was level 1.

"Of course no s**t" It makes sense.

I had an HP and MP.

"Omg is this for reals it means I can learn magic thats so awesome".

Mp stands for Magic power. I can learn magic and become like Harry Potter. I can actually become a sorcerer, a wizard, a magician, or whatever they call a person that can use magic.

Both my HP and MP was 100/100. I looked at my stats and points.

Intelligence-10

Stamina-11

Defence-8

Mana-4

With my mana, I can learn magic and grabbed a pencil to use as a wand and said out.

" Fireball" nothing happened.

" Vergadian leviosa" nothing still happened.

I got angry and shouted.

" s**t I look so stupid! seriously what the hell am I doing, enough of this bullshit"

Then I had another idea that might work, I tried manipulating mana into my hand. A white-colored light surrounded my hand.

"Whoa so cool," I said while looking at the Mana surrounding my hand

I punched the wall and made a big c***k.

"Oh God it actually works, so damn cool".

I thought of using that trick from my favorite anime Naruto of using mana as chakra. I tried another trick, by grabbing a pin and threw it at the wall, it stuck like a nail.

" oh yeah yaay awesome "

I tried another trick, I did a hand sign and spoke out " Fireball Jutsu" while blowing, nothing happened at all.

" Okay, then shadow clone Jutsu" nothing still happened.

"Dang it, I feel like an i***t"

I started looking into the Gamer's shop and there were all types of items like weapons, food, clothes, vehicles, and even a house. I also found magic items and spells. I looked into it and found all kinds of spell books, wands, magic weapons, and other things. I also looked at the weapons I was stunned after looking at them there were all kinds of weapons from history, mythology, and even video games. The weapons with special powers were so damn expensive above 1 million G points. I didn't know what the G meant It said Game points. 1 G point Is equal to 1 $. Basically, the weapons cost millions of dollars. I also looked into the clothing and found various kinds of outfits and armor that possessed abilities and some of the items were also from mythology, history, and video games.

I found the solution to my magic problem. I need to master a magic book to do magic and cast spells. I thought of purchasing a magic book but it cost more than 10000 G points. Every last item or spell cost a fortune.

Money that I didn't have and didn't know how to earn.

"What the freak? What the hell am I suppose to do now? s**t," I said while feeling frustrated.

I looked at the magic catalyst(the items that would cast magic spells) they were also damn expensive above 10000 G points.

"Goddamn, it now what the hell am I gonna do?" I said feeling more frustrated.

A guy like me who is struggling with money problems can't afford anything from the shop.

I looked again and found something even more interesting, load and save option that would allow me to create a save file and load it from there.

I saved it at 2:00 pm and made a file, after an hour at 3:00 pm I tried loading the file. Then went back at 2:00 pm.

"Oh my God this is like freaking time travel and it actually works."

I also found a restart option and tried the same thing and the same thing happened.

I thought this might come in handy during my exams. I can go back in time with all the questions to my test. This was a serious jackpot.

"Hell yeah this is awesome," I said while feeling excited.

I looked once again and found an inventory. I grabbed a book and stored it inside the inventory and then pulled it out from the inventory.

"Wow it works"

Storing objects and taking them out was easy.

" I can do magic tricks of making things disappear"

This is great with this I don't have to carry my backpack or things like maybe I can even carry my TV to school with my video game console that would be epic.

I kept looking into the gamer ability and found something insanely awesome, the "Dungeon seeker". This would allow me to enter different types of dungeons where I can battle all kinds of monsters in different types of places and earn money and cool rewards. The first dungeons that I looked at were the" Goblin dungeon" where I can enter and hunt goblins and the undead dungeon where I can hunt zombies.

While looking at the info I learned that if I hunt monsters in a certain quantity I can earn money in G points and cash them in real money. They even drop items like weapons and supplies. Also, I can raise my level and stats. I didn't know what it would be like to enter a dungeon in real life. In games, you enter a dungeon to slay the beast, earn money, loot items, level up, and fight bosses. So I thought I should give it a try. I selected The Undead Dungeon, the most easiest dungeon, and choose to enter.

After a while nothing really happened but when I looked outside my window. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

"Oh my God, What the freak?"

I saw my whole neighborhood looking like an abandoned area filled with zombies in the street in the street walking and crawling.

I was filled with horror. I almost shat my parents while looking at them.

" Oh my sour crap, It's a freaking zombie apocalypse" when the hell did I get myself into.
