OLIVIA
It was almost dawn and Wilson was still not coming home. The house we live in isn’t big but we do meet ourselves most times. He leaves the house early and goes home in the morning. He makes me feel like I’m not the one he really wants to go home with to his house.
I heard our door slam even although I was in my room. I stood up from my bed and opened the door a bit. My body stiffened when he wasn’t the only one to come.
A woman was holding his waist and he was wearing almost a child’s dress because of its height. This was his way of torturing me.
“You’re not the only one living here?” The woman’s beauty.
“Nope. I have a maid.” Wilson responded and he missed the woman on her lips.
“Maybe she’ll hear us when…”
Wilson kissed her on the neck. “ I don’t care. She doesn’t matter to me.”
My heart tightened in agony at what Wilson said. It wasn’t my fault that Sophie chose to leave him. Why can’t they believe me?
I left my room because I could hear the woman moan from there. I went to the kitchen and spent my time there.
Sophie, you’re so damn selfish. I thought dad was the only one who wouldn’t accept me for who I am, but here you are, you already added another one to it.
When I returned to the sitting room, I saw Wilson and a slender woman downstairs. He held the woman’s waist.
“Wilson, next time again, okay?” The woman asked softly.
Wilson smiled. “Of course.”
I was invisible to them. He didn’t even bother looking at me until he walked the woman out of the house. I hear the woman’s car leave.
“Ahm, Wilson…”
He looked at me coldly and asked. “What do you want?”
“Could you stop bringing all your bitches in this house?” I’m afraid to say this but I had to. I’m just a normal human being, I also have the right to be angry. “For as—“
He grabbed my arm. His fingers were dipping so I winced. “My bitches? The only b***h in this house is you, Olivia.”
The corner of my eye got heated up. “I’m not a b***h!”
“Yeah, you’re right. You’re a pest that needs to vanish into thin air.” He said mercilessly. “Thank you and I still need you. When I get my inheritance, I’ll treat you worse than trash.”
“Trash?”
“It’s not my fault you didn’t marry Sophie. I didn’t poison her mind or whatsoever. I didn’t do anything.”
“Who are you kidding? Who would believe what you’re saying? You know, Olivia, don’t act like you don’t know because you have for a very long time.”
I couldn’t stop slapping him. Sometimes you also had to fight. Immediately his cheek turned red. He pushed me hard and I screamed so hard and I sat on the floor.
“How dare you, a piece of trash, lays your filthy hands on me?” He knelt. I moaned in pain as he squeezed my jaw. “You don’t deserve this angelic face. You don’t deserve anything good in the world, Olivia, go to hell!”
He violently let me go. I shivered at the extreme pain I was feeling. I couldn’t stand the strength to do so left my leg.
“Two days from now is the birthday of one of our board of directors.” He says coldly.” The two of us were invited but I’ll be the only one to go honor the invitation. I’ll just say that you felt ill. I don’t want them to see you because you’re so embarrassing.”
“But my Da—“
He smirked. “Are you still hoping your father will be so modest to ask anything about you? I don’t think so”
I went upstairs to my bedroom with tears in my eyes. I faintly sat up in my bed and stared at the letter Sophie left me.
Olivia,
I’m so sorry I did this horrible thing to you. I knew you loved Wilson. I could feel it. I wanted you to be happy. I know that someday sometime he will get to love you too.
I’m not coming back anymore.
I’m really sorry.
Sophie.
Stupid Sophie. She’s the most selfish b***h I have met. She didn’t even think about how Wilson and I would feel about the decision she made. And because of what she did, the important people hated me the more. My heart tightened. I took the inhaler and put it in my mouth until I could breathe properly. I lay down on my bed and started crying all over.
Why can’t they listen to me? Why all of this, am I the only one who could understand? Why do I love them so much that I can’t miss them?
I went home early to cook Wilson his dinner. I went out the door when I heard noises from outside. When I opened the door. I saw three cars parked outside our house.
Wilson got out of his car. He looked at me coldly. Two men got out of the white car while two men got out of the red car.
“Oh. Here’s your fake bride, Wilson!” The man said with braces on the tooth.
Do they know?
“Just ignore her,” Wilson said as they walked into the house.
His friends brought in a large quantity of wine and laid it on on the center table of the sitting room. I was taken aback by the kind of look Wilson’s friends gave me.
I am currently washing the plates they used when I felt someone pull my arm. I saw Wilson, his cheeks was flushed like he was so drunk.
“Wilson? Wait, why?”
He pulled me into the living room. All four of his friends were drunk as well as him. We stopped in front of his friends. I felt nervous.
“Strip,” Wilson said.
“What?”
“I said stop.” He said coldly. I tried to get out of of his grip, but he tightened me up the more. “Oh, come on! We are bored! Why don’t you try entertaining us? You’re a white, aren’t you?”
“Wilson, heck! I don’t do such! I’m not like that.” I tried to get rid of him.
His friend approached me except one who just sat on the chair and drank his wine while watching. One help my hand.
“Wait,don’t!” My system panicked.
The man touched my jaw. He gave me a scary smile. “Please stay close. We all know what you did to set Wilson up So don’t act up like you are clean.”
My tears flowed down my cheek as I struggled with all my strength. “Release me!”
I was surprised when someone grabbed my thigh.
“s**t! She has a soft and nice skin. Good luck, Wilson.” The man with the braces licked his lower lip.
“Don’t please!” I looked at Wilson. His expression was blank as he held one of hands. “Wilson, that’s enough! Help me, please!!”
My knees trembled when I felt the kiss of the man with braces on my neck. I avoided. I tried walking away but Wilson and a man held my two hands so tight.
“Tastes like a pearl.”
I begged to look at Wilson. His eyes widened.
Help me, somebody.
I cannot take it anymore.
I sobbed louder and struggled. I felt Wilson lose my hand. He stopped the friend and pulled me away.
“That’s enough. She’s too boring. Let’s just call a professional whore.” He said.
I had a chance to escape so I did that immediately and ran to my room and I locked myself in there. My whole body started shaking with fear. My knees were so weakened so I felt the carpet on the floor of my bedroom. My tears flowed ceaselessly.
Where is the hood Wilson I knew?
I never thought that I would get to a point in my life where everyone would treat me as if I was a toy for playing.
I kept on crying. I felt so scared. I was startled when there was a knock on my door. I didn’t open it. I couldn’t open the door.
“That’s enough please,” I whispered while crying bitterly.
“Damn it.” I heard nothing else after he said that and I heard footsteps of him leaving.
