Damien’s P.O.V
Everything was going great, we had our home and were living peacefully with the werewolves. It was perfect and we had more vampires coming to us for sanctuary, which was brilliant. Word sure got around fast about us protecting our own, but we had to vet and investigate every vampire that came to us and make sure their intentions were pure. There were a few that were only coming to us to hide out for a while and we couldn't allow that because it would draw too much attention to us and that was the last thing we wanted or needed. We had to be careful who we took in and the ones we didn't accept had to have every trace of us and our location wiped from their minds otherwise it would destroy everything we had built and tried to accomplish.
