Olivia's POV
I led Daniel to one of the empty booths that had a window view and we sat down. I still couldn't believe that my best friend from medical school and my first ever crush was sitting right in front of me. It was almost as if I was in a dream; a dream that I didn't want to wake up from.
Daniel still had a smile on his face, that smile that made me crush on him back in school.
"Why are you smiling at me like that?" I asked him, smiling back myself.
"It's just that I can't believe that you are actually sitting in front of me. You know when my Australian hospital referred me to this hospital I never would have thought that I would see you here," he answered.
"Oh so you had no intentions of looking for me?" I asked, pretending to be upset.
He chuckled lightly before answering.
