I was just glued to the screen of my laptop, trying to ensure I had replied to all important emails when the thought of that silly and delusional Olivia’s problem struck my thinking. “Would she have given ascent to the divorce papers?” I thought aloud—Meaning, I literally said those words aloud as if I was talking to a real human being next to me in the room while I was actually all alone engrossed in my work. If she actually did, she would have sent it back to my lawyer or there would have surely been a way for me to have been informed.
