A nerve-wracking period of silence followed after Jayda gave up complaining about the guy she was with inside the store a while ago. The music went off almost ten minutes ago and no one came after the guy left.
“I wonder how this place didn’t get much costumer by this time,” Jayda whispered as she put her chin on both hands.
It was past 9 in the evening and Jayda didn’t feel like to head home until she remembered Faris.
Just as she fished her phone inside her jacket, she sighed and said, “Damn. It feels like he’s away about years.”
