Chapter 13 The next morning Lawson decided we needed to go on a picnic for lunch. He told me about this massive waterfall on the property that he wanted me to see. I was a little enchanted with the way he described this waterfall and the beauty of it, especially in the winter. Even though it was still fall we loaded up our supplies that afternoon and then started the hour and a half hike up the mountain. The scenery was beautiful, the trees were still lush, but the leaves were changing colors, making it look like a work of art with the green, yellow, orange and red leaves. The wild life we’re hunting and foraging for the winter. The deer were grazing lazily and sleeping, they didn’t even budge as we hiked by them. They picked up their heads, looked at us and laid back down to sleep. “L
