Seven long hours later we made it home. It felt like it had taken forever to get here, and I told Lawson we could have just ran here. That one of the vampires could have carried me. He wasn’t having it though. He was not going to tolerate another male carrying me anywhere. So, driving is what we were stuck with. The longest ride of my life.
