After training, as we were catching our breath, I turned to Liam with a soft smile. "By the way… my friend is coming today," I said, wiping the sweat from my forehead.
He raised a brow, curious. "Friend?"
"Yeah, she’s from India," I nodded. "Her name is Parvathy—but everyone back home calls her Paru. She got a scholarship to study here and finally managed to come."
Liam tilted his head slightly. "Paru, huh?"
A soft smile curled on my lips just saying her name. "We’ve been friends for over three years now. We met online back when I was active on social media. She was always there—supporting every protest, cheering on every cause. Even when we hadn’t met in person, she felt like a soul sister. She’s fun, fierce, and a total sweetheart. And now… she’s finally here."
