32 Nathan’s prediction of soon proved to be an overestimation. It was almost half an hour before the helicopter bearing the search and rescue team appeared in the sky overhead. During that time Laura Dennings clung desperately to the protruding piece of rock that was all that kept her from plummeting to either injury or death.
