A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR
Before the Dawn is the perhaps the most difficult novel I’ve written. I went through far more drafts, revamps, and crippling bouts of writer’s block than I have in years.
It’s not easy writing about depression or spousal abuse for obvious reasons, but I’m thankful to my husband for his continued encouragement, to my prayer team who interceded for me, and to God who helped this project come into existence in spite of all the difficulties and setbacks.
I’m also thankful for my team of editors and beta readers, as well as my son who assists with a lot of behind-the-scenes work on his computer. Thanks also to those of you who lift my writing up in prayer, recommend my books to others, and faithfully buy and read my novels.
