Adam found the pervasive scent of coffee beverages both reassuring and mildly revolting.
After leaving the state park and making their way to the highway, the men had found an Internet café at the next reasonably sized town. Adam and Virgil sat at a table, sipping coffee and waiting for their food, while Luther used one of the computers in the back. They’d decided they’d attract less attention if Luther did most of the internet digging himself. Once he’d checked out a few things and narrowed down Danny’s possible location, Virgil would join him for a final consult.
