“What are you doing here?”

Mrs. Smith frowned. The woman was surprised to find her future husband and the princess in the same room. The woman also saw them kissing like lovers like Romeo and Juliet. However, Mrs. Smith approached the two, who both took an inch back to add some distance. The woman stood and crossed her arms, watching her lover and child, who was still silent.

“What are you doing here?”

Mrs. Smith asked again—however, this time in a much louder tone. Mrs. Smith’ eyes stared intently at the man who had promised to marry her and turned to the princess, who lowered her head deeply.

“Carolina Smith, are you trying to seduce your future father?”

Mrs. Smith lifted the princess’ chin roughly. The woman did it in a fit of rage. The affair was in plain sight. Should he just shut up?

Carol didn’t answer. The girl tried to meet her mother’s gaze. However, it failed. Carol couldn’t. Mrs. Smith then pushed her daughter’s body backward against the sink, and at that point, Eric William grabbed Mrs. Smith’ arm to stop her.

“Darling… you just misunderstood. There was a small thing that bothered Carol’s eyes. I’m just helping your daughter ease the pain. After all, why don’t you blame your household assistant, who is not good at cleaning until Carol gets that feeling of discomfort,” explained Eric William.

“Okay. I believe. We will continue our dinner. You go first.”

Mrs. Smith asked Eric William to go first. Meanwhile, the woman will talk privately with Carol. The princess seemed to disagree with Eric’s explanation earlier. So, does Carol have another explanation?

“Is what Eric said true, Carol?” asked Mrs. Smith.

The girl took a deep breath and nodded weakly. Mrs. Smith frowned, then lifted Carol’s chin again so the princess looked into her eyes.

“I’ll keep an eye on you, Carol. You think your mother never knows your reputation in the office. You are a temptress. So, watch your attitude this time. Eric William is Mommy’s. And don’t even think about trying it,” Mrs Smith threatened.

The woman then came out with anger still lingering in her head. All because Eric William was the man the woman had been dreaming of for a long time. Even if you have to compete with your children, Mrs. Smith will never flinch.

“Eric is only mine,” she whispered as exited the bathroom.

While in the bathroom, Kyle Smith had a tantrum. The girl tried to vent her anger by kicking the trash that was there. Carol also felt irritated because of all this. Wasn’t Eric William supposed to admit everything? They enjoyed the night together, isn’t that enough?

Carol is angry. It is not good. Why, when the girl wanted to finish the adventure of finding a man like her father, did Mrs. Smith like the same man? And they intend to get married.

Carol stared at his reflection in the mirror. The girl looked intently. Carol is still very beautiful compared to his mother. So, why should you step back? If Eric William was willing, why should Carol give in to Mrs. Smith? Meanwhile, the woman was no longer young and not as good as herself in bed.

“Okay. I will compete with Mommy. I have to win to get Eric William, or no one can get that guy,” Carol said excitedly.

The girl then corrected her makeup and intended to return to the dining table.

While outside, Eric William fixed his tie and shirt and sat in the chair. The man didn’t know Carolina Smith lived in the same house as Mrs. Smith. “Finish everything with your daughter. I will go if you are still unsure about this relationship,” said Eric William, trying to get the attention of Mrs. Smith.

The man was bluffing. Eric William’s words were full of emphasis, and they hoped that Mrs. Smith would no longer suspect him. The man didn’t want his mission to fail because he was caught kissing Carol in the bathroom.

Eric William stood up, and Mrs. Smith stopped him from walking.

“Everything is done. It was just a misunderstanding,” said Mrs Smith.

“I’m sorry,” added the woman.

Eric William stared at the woman closely. Then, placing a kiss on Mrs. Smith’ forehead. This is a form of the man believing Mrs. Smith’ words to convince the woman that their relationship is serious. At that time, Carol, who saw the scene, became furious. Who exactly does Eric William want? What girl is her mommy?

Carolina Smith pulled up a chair and sat in front of Eric William like before. The girl tried to hold back and smile to hide everything she felt.

“Sorry about the misunderstanding earlier,” she said.

Mrs. Walles stared at the daughter intently. The woman didn’t know if Carol meant it this time. Mrs. Smith knew the girl’s demeanor by heart. Carol has the same strong ambition as he did when he was young, even though they are not blood-related. But this time, Mrs. Smith wanted to act wisely. The woman would give Carol confidence as Mrs. Smith believed Eric William was only hers.

“No problem, honey. Mommy’s too suspicious,” said Mrs Smith.

The dinner continued without meaningful conversation. Finally, Eric William decided to go home. Carol also came straight into the room. However, Mrs. Smith, who was already suspicious, took the phone and tried to call someone. The phone connected, and a man’s voice greeted me on the other side.

“Hello, Mrs. Smith. How are you?” he asked.

“No need to mince words, Cloud. I asked Carol to watch over me for me.”

“Ha-ha, that girl is your daughter. Why ask me to watch?” asked Cloud Demon.

“I just don’t want Carol to ruin my fun. Oh, come on, Cloud. Carol is not my daughter. I’m just a stepmother. So, don’t exaggerate our relationship. Just do what I ask and report daily,” said Mrs Smith.

Without waiting for Cloud Demon’s approval, Mrs. Smith hung up. This time, the woman had to get Eric William at any cost. Mrs. Smith didn’t want to repeat old stories. Choose to get Mr. Smith’ treasure and leave love for Eric William.

Meanwhile, Cloud Demon clenched his jaw. He knew his love for Mrs. Smith would never be reciprocated. But why did he stick around Mrs. Smith to see her smile? The man always felt like a clown. However, Cloud Demon was determined. The ambition for Mrs. Smith will come true one day.

Carolina Smith went to work lazily. Last night’s events made him not excited to live the next day. The girl needed clarification about what to do. Even though last night Carol was determined to compete with Mrs. Smith to get Eric William.

The girl stepped into her Boss’s room. Today, Carolina Smith is scheduled for a photo shoot for women’s underwear. Being a model is a profession that the girl is currently engaged in. Carol loved being in front of the camera, and this was the job she wanted.

Cloud Demon, as the producer, was surprised to see the look on the model’s proud face looking haggard. Even though the man already knew the cause, Cloud would still ask for the sake of his concern for Carol.

“What happened? Why is your face so sad today, Carol?” asked the man.

“My day didn’t go well yesterday, Boss. So, I hope this photoshoot can make me excited again,” said Carolina Smith.

Cloud Demon rose from his seat. Then, they approached Carol and stroked the girl’s blonde hair gently. Cloud looked down and whispered in Carolina Smith’ ear after that.

“Stay cool. Today will be very pleasant for you. Our party of clients will come to see you in person while in style. And I’m sure you’ll be delighted to meet the man,” said Cloud.

Carolina Smith turned his head. The girl smiled and tried to forget her sad heart. Then, get up from sitting and get ready.

“I will fulfill our client’s wish, Boss,” she said excitedly.

Cloud Demon watched Carol’s back as he left the room. The man smiled. Cloud then took the cell phone and contacted the man who was the client today.

“Your desired model is ready,” Cloud said over the phone.

“Beth, who is our client this time?” asked Carol, a makeup artist doing her makeup.

“Ah, the Boss hasn’t told me yet. Maybe soon our client will come. Now change your clothes first,” Jane said.

The slender man prepared two sets of women’s underwear for Carolina Smith. One is maroon, and the other is sexy black. Carol accepted it and rushed to the locker room. The girl removed all her clothes and put on the brand she would wear for a photo shoot. Carol came out after all was done.

A sofa set is prepared as a property. Carol professionally strikes poses and tries on styles before the cameraman directs the styling.

“Get ready, Caro ldear. We’ll start in 5 minutes,” said the cameraman.

Carol nodded. The girl once again tries on sets and looks for the right style for the photo later. Suddenly, Cloud Demon’s voice took Carol by surprise.

“Please, sir. This is the shooting set.”

Carolina Smith turned and saw a man in a neat suit standing straight. The girl’s chest rumbled. Carol didn’t expect to meet the man so soon. Cloud took the man closer to Carol, who was still shocked. Cloud Demon introduced them when Carol called out first.

“Are you our client today, Eric William?”
