CHAPTER TWENTY ONE
It’s been a full three days since my very stern conversation with Andrew and I was almost convinced he had changed. There had been no more Rose and well, on my part it’s been awfully quiet. Nick had not tried to contact me or anything and even though I knew I should not be missing him because I pushed him away from me but yet he has all I had been thinking for the past three days. I missed him terribly but deep down I knew staying away from him was the best option. That man was in love with me but I felt no inkling of attraction towards him and if staying friends with him could give him false hopes, then that was the last thing I wanted. Besides, I hated how he felt like he needed to save me every single time.
It was three a.m. in the morning when I got in the house
