Where did my wife get her strength and appetite for this? I kissed her forehead and met her eyes. “Want another round, Leigh?”
She shook her head and smiled. “I’ll die if we have another one, Alex.”
I laughed at her, pulling her to me and wanting to prove to her she wouldn’t die if we had another one, but my cell phone made a loud noise, startling Leigh and me. I reached out for my phone, smiling as I answered George.
