"FRESH START"

"Ouch", I heard.
That was when I realized I bumped into someone. She touched her forehead playfully.
I hurriedly helped to pick up her books from the floor as they had fallen from her hands when I bumped into her.
Two other people,a boy and a girl,came over to give us a hand.
"I'm so sorry", I sincerely apologized.
"It's fine", she replied
"Anyways, I'm Zoe", she said.
"I'm Maya", said the other girl who came to help.
"And I'm Jax", the boy said.
"I'm Aria and nice to meeting you all", I replied.
"Guess you're also in 9th grade",Jax asked.
Yeah, I replied.
"So are we",Maya said happily.
"Then are we officially friends?",Zoe shyly asked.
"Yeah I guess", I excitedly replied.
And that was how our friendship began.
Like I've never had any friend because I hated betrayal and all those stuffs but when I met Zoe,Jax and Maya, I felt different and I wanted to get closer to them.
We soon settled down in the school though it wasn't so easy at the start but we managed.
And I thanked God for my friends or I should rather say my best friends.
Being in the same class made it more fun and exciting.
I introduced them to my parents and they also introduced me to theirs.
Soon our lives were floating on good clouds but it wasn't perfect.
One other thing I was happy about was the fact that there was no one disturbing our peace at school.
I mean there's always an antagonist in a good story or movie who's always against the protagonist.
Oh no, here we go again.
Me and my fantasies.
Movies were influencing my thoughts but I made sure it didn't affect my studies in any bad way.
"Looking forward to exciting and educating days ahead!", I exclaimed before drifting to sleep.
