Driving to the next location, I sit thinking about what Lilah just said. Wouldn’t this be too soon to be thinking about a lifelong commitment? I do adore her; she is absolutely incredible, and the days we get to share are phenomenal. And I realize I’m all for the idea, but I hope it’s not a decision we will regret in the future—we’ve known each other almost a week, although it does feel incredible being with her. I feel like I’ve known her my entire life.
I’m not getting any younger, and I have achieved a lot in my life. I want to live life the way we have been. Sure, when we get back to reality and work responsibilities take over our lives will be different, but I can see myself coming home to her every day for the rest of my days.
