Chapter Forty-Three Lilah We walk around between the restaurants and decide on eating some seafood, placing our orders and then staring into each other’s eyes. “What’s your biggest fear in life?” “Skydiving!” I say without hesitating. He smiles. “I understand that one, but what is your biggest fear not related to skydiving?” “I think it changes as you live life. Before meeting you, I had a fear of never finding the person who will make me as happy as I am with you today.” “And after meeting me?” “I fear losing you!” We sit in silence for a couple of moments, and the server brings our food. “I acknowledge your fear and I share it. I’m also afraid of losing you.” Hearing those words brings a smile to my face and a feeling of contentment. Small words of affirmation mean a lot to me
