Chapter Sixty-Four

I didn’t get to fall asleep the way I’ve grown used to lately, but he is so amazing. I still get to wake up the way I’ve come to love. I turn over to kiss him.
“Good morning, handsome.”
“Good morning, beautiful. How did you sleep?”
“Good, I think.”
We lie in bed making small talk, drink coffee, and cuddle a little.
“What happened between you and Olivia last night?” he asks.
“What do you mean?”
“I could see there are some bad vibes between you two.”
“It’s nothing.”
“Are you sure? It didn’t seem like nothing.”
“Yeah, it was nothing, probably the alcohol talking.”
We start getting ready for the day and pack our bags for the next adventure. This time I really have to up my game. I put a little more effort and attention to detail with my makeup and my cloth
