Rosetta layed motionless on the cold floor, her body was filled with injuries of yesterday and her skin was pale white in colour due to laying on the cold floor the entire night.

The door suddenly opened and Miya's voice broke the silence in the room.“good morning rosetta.“

Miya walked over to where Rosetta limped body layed. A evil and cruel smile appeared on her face.

“Give me that!“ Miya ordered one of the gaurds who stood outside the door. Miya collected the bucket filled with icy water. without any hesitation, Miya poured the cold water directly on Rosetta's face. Rosetta body jerked violently from the water poured on her, her eyes snapped open as she gasped for air.

Miya's laughter echoed through the room, "Rise and shine, Rosetta. Did you enjoy you night?“ she said her voice filled with sarcasm.“We have a big day ahead of us."

Rosetta's eyes locked with Miya, her motion was filled with a mix.of anger, confusion, pain, and hatred. She tried to speak, but her voice was barely a whisper.

Miya's smile grew wider, "Oh, don't bother trying to talk. You'll need all your strength for what's to come."

Miya's eyes glitted with pleasure as she watched Rosetta struggle to sit up. Rosetta's body was weak and trembling, her muscles aching from the potion's effects and beatings.

"Come on, Rosetta," Miya taunted, "you can do better than that. I want to see you on your feet." Miya said in a mocking tone.

Rosetta gritted her teeth, She slowly pushed herself up from the floor, her legs shaking and wobbly beneath her. Miya watched with a mixture of amusement and disappointment. She thought Rosetta will be weak and unable to stand up after taking the potion or maybe the beating wasn't enough. But she was determined to see Rosetta suffer more.

"Not bad, Rosetta," Miya said, "but you can do better. Let's try again."

Miya reached out and grabbed Rosetta's arm, yanking her so hard to her feet. Rosetta stumbled down, her body ached so bad, her vision blurring for a moment. When her eyes cleared, she saw Miya's face which displayed a proud smirk.

"You're so pathetic, Rosetta," Miya sneered. "You're so weak and helpless."

Rosetta's anger rised up, but she knew she had to keep her emotions bottled up inside. She couldn't let Miya get the better of her.

"What do you want from me, Miya?" Rosetta asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

Miya's smile grew wider. "Oh, I want so many things from you, Rosetta. But most of all, I want to see you suffer."

"You want to see me cry don't you? you want me to beg you but i won t." Rosetta said her voice bold and her eyes staring fiercely at Miya.

Miya felt shiver ran down her spine as her eyes met with Rosetta but she wouldn't want to display it, after all she could break Rosetta into pieces.

Miya's laughter echoed through the room. "We'll see about that, Rosetta. We'll see about that."

“Well that's not what i came for, today your father will be buried and you wouldn't be able to attend because you will be locked up here till, i don't know…or maybe till enternity.“ Miya said staring at Rosetta to see her emotions.

“You don't have to worry, no one in the pack are worried about your death.“ with that she turned to leave but Rosetta voice stopped her.

Miya turned to face her.

“let me see my father being buried…please!“

Rosetta said in a pleading tone.

“ohh! See who said she wouldn't beg me, guess you change your mind but even at that you wouldn't still get to see him.“ Miya said feeling proud she knew Rosetta will surely beg her.

“Lets go!“ Miya said as she and her gaurds turned to leave.

“My lady.“ a maid was kneeling down in front of a woman.

“Have you carried out what i told you to do?“ asked the woman.

“Yes miss Adriana.“ the maid said.

“Alright you can leave.“ Adriana said.

The maid quickly stood up and hurriedly left the room.

“Finally that b***h is out of my way, i can't wait to have him all to myself, i don't mind defeating the devil just to have him.“ Adriana smiled as she thought to herself while sipping from her glass of wine.

Alpha Kaiden was preparing to leave when his beta walked into his room.

“You could have knocked, you know I don't like my privacy being invaded.“ came Kaiden husky voice.

“I'm soory alpha but this is urgent, Belle was found dead this morning, she was taking to the healer and the healer said she died in her sleep.“ Thane said.

“okay bury her, i need a new slave.“ kayden said with no emotion in him as he continued to fix the bottons on his shirt.

“okay. Alpha Raphael burial begins in an hour we should head now.“ Thane replied.

After the burial of Alpha Raphael, the atmosphere at Dark Night Park was somber as everyone was in grief of the passing of thier great alpha.But Ray and Miya who were present, their faces masked with fake sorrow.

the pack gathered to pay their respects to the deceased alpha's family. Ray playing the role of the future alpha and Miya acting like the luna. They made their way through the crowd, greeting the mourners, some Alpha's of various packs.

"Condolences to you and your family," Alpha Xander said, shaking hands with Ray.

"Yes, our hearts go out to you in this difficult time," his luna added.

"i heard Alpha Raphael daughter committed suicide due to she couldn't handle the death of her father." she continued.

"yes, she was my best friend, i every time i think of her i feel like crying. She was a sister i never had.“ Miya said crying trying to act pathetic.

“I'm so sorry for bring it up.“ the luna responded in an apologetic tone.

“it's okay.“ Miya wiped her eyes.

“Oh Alpha Kaiden!“ Kaiden heard his name as he was about to leave so he turned back.

“Thanks for coming to pay your last respect to our alpha.“ Ray said.

“Sorry i couldn't wait to stay for you coronation.“ Kaiden suddenly replied.

Kaiden entered the waiting car and the car droved off. “what a rude punk “ Ray cursed him.

Meanwhile, Rosetta remained locked in a cell, unaware of the events happening outside. Her only comfort was the knowledge that her father's burial had taken place, and that he was finally at peace. But she needs to think of a way to escape this hell called prison.
