Emma’s POV
I hadn’t expected the kiss, but I was thrilled that he had kissed me before he left. I had already decided to give him a shot. But that was the cherry on top of the sundae for me.
“So, I heard a rumor that you have banana pudding here,” Wade mentioned.
“It's not a rumor, it’s in the refrigerator. Let me go get you one,” I replied. The fridge was in the back. I didn’t want a bulky fridge taking up room in the store.
“This looks delicious,” Wade said as I approached.
“Thanks, Wade. This one is on the house,” I told him.
