Emma’s POV
“Emma, do you have a minute? Someone wants to speak to you,” Janine said after she came into the back.
“Is it a man?” I asked. I didn’t want to have this discussion here at my bakery if Colton had suddenly decided to show up.
“No, it’s a woman. She’s pregnant and has long brown hair, if that helps. I didn’t think to ask for her name. She seemed harmless. She already ordered and took her cupcake to a table to eat it while she waited,” Janine replied.
“Peach cobbler cupcake?” I asked with a smile.
“How did you know?” Janine asked.
“I’ll see her. She is nice, you don’t have to worry about her,” I answered before putting up the tray I was working on and washing my hands.
