Emma’s POV
I was stunned by what Colton had said. He had defended me, and now he was protecting me from them. I’m really glad he came here today. I would have been scared for Parker, as Noel wouldn’t care if she was pregnant or not. Noel would do anything to try to hurt me, even hurting a pregnant stranger. She's always been ruthless.
I could hardly believe this was happening. Noel was so jealous that I thought flames were going to shoot out of the top of her head. Colton gently placed his arm around my shoulder in a show of support, and it felt a little possessive. I felt safe, and I couldn’t stop the smile that bloomed across my face. Noel was grinding her teeth so hard that I could almost hear it.
