Brett’s POV
My eyes widened in shock at the sight of the police officers standing at the door. I can’t believe that Emma was serious about having Noel arrested. Who had even called them? No one in the office had picked up a phone, and I had been watching. I thought Emma was just being spiteful and trying to scare Noel, but now I'm really getting worried. That was a hard shove, and Emma had hit the desk hard. I didn't know Noel was capable of doing something like that.
