Chapter 48
Emma’s POV
I was surprised to see Parker and Della show up, but I guess I shouldn’t be. They were both very stubborn women, and I know they were both worried about me. I guess Della told Parker to stay in the SUV with Paisley. That was safer, but this traffic stop has turned into a showdown.
Colleen, Vera, and Gigi were already arguing with Kimberly. Della was just the cherry on top. I saw two squad cars on either side of us, in the same parking lot. The officers were talking to each other, a short distance away. Kimberly was facing me, so she didn't see them yet. Gigi, her crew, and Della were not being quiet about their displeasure at me having been pulled over. Things were so loud that we were starting to draw a crowd.
