Andrea’s POV
I would be lying if I said I wasn’t looking forward to the board meeting. This had been a long time coming, and I wanted to savor the moment. Knowing that this was a done deal had put a smile on my face. It’s been a long time since I can remember being this happy. I never thought I would live in a small community like the one I do, but I love it there.
I feel much happier these days, and I even replaced my severe hairstyle. I used to pull my hair into a low bun, but now I'm wearing it down. I got a haircut yesterday, and the layers make me look ten years younger. The hairdresser had talked me into getting streaks in my blonde hair. She got rid of the gray hairs at my temples and gave me lowlights and highlights.
