Colton’s POV
I didn’t know what Emma was planning for my ring, but she seemed excited about whatever it was. My main objective today was to get her to agree to marry me. Now that I knew she was going to say ‘Yes,’ the weight that had been pressing against me had eased up. I knew that this was quick, almost too quick, but I knew in my heart that she was meant to be my wife. As long as Emma was happy, I was happy.
I carried the bag out to the truck and as I helped her in, I said, “I want to do this right, Emma. You will be getting your ring tonight. But I want our friends and family to be a part of our moment, and share our joy.”
