Colton’s POV
Something’s definitely wrong with Emma. Things were going great, and I was going to kiss her, and then her grandfather showed up and ruined the moment. I was glad that her Gigi was trying to get him to stop, but Emma walked off. I took the opportunity to speak to him. He wasn’t receptive at first, but once I told him that I wanted to marry Emma, that all changed.
“You want to marry her?” he asked in surprise. His face was a picture of disbelief.
